I am searching for explicit references in literature (preferably available on
the internet) that clarify repetitive war crimes as being easier to carry out
than any first one with which one still may have had objections. I could not
find any good references with Google because the search terms are very
difficult to define.

Kind regards,

Your question is very difficult to undestand. Easier to carry out? You mean
from a psychological viewpoint, or that the offence is less likely to be
prosecuted?

Hi Todal,
Yes, from a psychological point of view for the perpetrator.
The popular phrase of it is "once a thief, always a thief".
I need references indicating that psychological phenomenon.

Kind regards,

Try the search terms "psychological normalising war crimes" or
variations thereof.
