kaise sukoon paaooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
ab kyaa Gazal sunaaooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
aavaaz de rahee hai meree zindagee mujhe
jaaooN maiN yaa na jaaooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
ka'abe kaa ahatiraam bhee meree nazar meN hai
sar kis taraf jhukaaoooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
teree nigaah-e-mast ne maKHmoor kar diyaa
kyaa maikade ko jaaooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
nazaroN meN taab-e-deed bhee baaqee naheeN rahee
kis se nazar milaaooN tujhe dekhne ke baad
Incidentally, in the same recording he also sings the following ghazal:
raaste yaad naheeN raahnumaa yaad naheeN
kuchh mujhe ab teree galiyoN ke sivaa yaad naheeN
ek va'ada thaa jo sheeshe kee tarah TooT gayaa
haadisa kab yeh huaa kaise huaa yaad naheeN
de sake too mere jazbaat ko ta'ana jis kaa
mujhko aisee to koi apnee KHataa yaad naheeN
door rahkar bhee teree yaad ko poojaa maiN ne
yeh na kahnaa ki mujhe aadaab-e-vafaa yaad naheeN
yaad kyaa aayeN voh beete hue saavan mujhko
maiN voh panchhee hooN jise apnee sadaa yaad naheeN
I do not know who has written this second ghazal.
Earnestly hoping that someone knows who this young talented ghazal
singer is !

I don't know about this particular video, but both of these GHazals have
been sung by Talat Aziz and are available in his audio cassettes.

I have given the five she'rs sung in my video recording, incidentally by
Talat Aziz, as I have now been kindly informed by two ALUP'ers.
If this Saeed Shahidi ghazal has any more she'rs, I too would like to
see them !

Does he still sing ghazals? If not, when did he stop?

Talat Aziz does still sing - more the pity! He sounded really good in his
first album in which the ghazal you have quoted appears ("kaise sukoo.n
paaoo.n"). The music for this album was composed by Jagjit Singh.
Unfortunately, Talat Aziz then started composing music for his ghazals
himself - with disastrous results. He sounds good when under someone else's
baton - e.g., his songs for Khayyaam in "Umraao Jaan" (zindagii jab bhii
terii bazm me.n laatii hain hame.n) and the "Bazaar" duet with Lata (phir
chhidii raat baat phoolo.n kii) are delightful. Warm regards, Abhay
