Hi Vic, I was very glad to meet you and greatly appreciate your offer to
help. I realize that the task we have undertaken to locate the missing
members of the KRYEZIU family is not going to be easy but at least we can
make whatever effort we can to locate these people.
So, here's the information:
# 1 - Sahit Kryeziu - born in the year 1964. When the Serbs came to his
village (MLEQAN - MALISHEVO - 35 km from Pristina), his wife and three
children were asked to leave their home but Sahit was held back. They are
not sure whether he is alive and what happened to him. My hope is that he
is among the people that were released by the Serbs yesterday from the
concentration camp/prison.
#2 - Amrush Kryzeiu - born in 1967 - the same thing happened to him as to
Sahit. He was separated from his wife and two children at the same village
(as above). He is believed to be in an Italian Refugee camp and a phone
number is available for the camp. so I will be contacting the immigration
department to see if he can be reunited with his family.
# 3 - Agron Kryeziu - born 1975 from the same village Mleqan- Malishevo.
He and his girlfriend are missing and their whereabouts are unknown. His
girlfriend's name is Vlora - born in 1980. She may be using Agron's last
name as they had planned to get married.
#4 - Nurije Krasniqi (maiden name - Kryeziu) - born 1962 - this lady and
her husand Rasim Krasniqi born 1960, and their four children: Manushaque
born 1987 (female)
Ardiane born 1989 (female)
Perparim born 1990 (male)
Leotrim born 1998 (male)
Their hometown - Kamaran, about 20 km from Pristina
# 5 -Safete Krasniqi (maiden name Kryeziu) born 1971 and her huband Bekim
Krasniqi born 1968 and their two children Elona born 1995
Leorat born 1999
are also missing. We do not know (as in her sister's case above) whether
they are all together at one location or if they have been separated.
Their home town - Vilig Negrohc-Glogovec
# 6 - Sinan Kryeziu born 1937 - hometown Mleqan-Malishevo. I could not
quite understand what the relationship is but from the last name it seems
that he could be grandfather of the missing men and their sisters and the
great grandfather of the little children.
Once again, thank you very much. I cannot find the words to express my
gratitude for your effort.
Sheila
Please contact Sheila directly by email. Or, if necessary, myself. I have
only briefly met the Kryeziu family, while she has been helping them for
since their arrival in Edmonton, Canada.
