Store Leadership Program to join our ever-growing company. If
you are dynamic, driven and achievement oriented, our Store
Leadership Program will provide you with a strong foundation of
leadership, technical, and strategic skills. SLP offers
participants a fast track to Store Manager and beyond. We have
begun recruiting for our tenth wave of SLP participants. APPLY
NOW! The demanding 24-month Store Leadership Program combines
over 250 hours of intense classroom learning, four different job
rotations and mentoring by company leaders. You gain exposure to
all facets of The Home Depot business; stores and functional
areas, providing customer service, leading teams, and solving
critical business issues. We will introduce you to Six Sigma and
a key deliverable of this program will be your ability to apply
Six Sigma methodology across multiple business functions. Minimum
Qualifications - Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must
pass the Drug Test. Must pass the Background Check. Must pass
pre-employment tests if applicable. Education Required - The
knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the
completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in
a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work
Experience - 4 Physical Job Requirements - Most all of the time
is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or
there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment
of moderate weight (8-20 pounds). Preferred Qualifications - 4-10
years of experience in business OR as a commissioned military
officer. Advanced degree a plus, but not required.
Results-oriented leadership. Customer service focused. Ability to
solve problems, delegate tasks and achieve goals. Solid business
acumen. An eagerness to learn and master new roles quickly.
Willingness to relocate within a Home Depot Division. Ability to
work a flexible retail schedule including nights and weekends.
