Software Architect / Engineer Requirements & Experience:
* 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer building
mission critical production applications * 5+ years experience
developing web-based applications * Expertise in both Java and .NET
environments * Knowledge of PHP a plus * Solid knowledge of Microsoft
SQL Server a plus * Knowledge and understanding of individual design
patterns and making them work together * Ability to work independently
* Experience with on-line search marketing and advertising a plus *
Enthusiasm for solving interesting and complex problems * Expertise in
designing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems * Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent oral and written
communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
* Work with Product Management to understand and evaluate business
requirements for the WebVisible software systems * Based on these
business requirements, design and architect the software systems to
provide the necessary functionality, while remaining scalable and
ready for future expansion * Provide the technical design to the
development teams * Work on development tasks as required (expected to
be at least 50% of your time) * Work on tasks assigned for specific
projects, meeting deadlines as set forth by the project manager
