Hello everyone,

I am looking for people from the old irc-2.mit.edu IRC server. I
wanted to let them know that some of the old members (lalune, Knox,
xhavok and me: Decameron) are now connecting to irc.epix.net on a
regular basis. It would be nice to hear from you again.

Some nicks I can remember: Smirnoff, Giggles, SkiWV, KC Jones, mulder,
mariab...

New people is also welcome :-)

irc-2.mit.edu was connected to Efnet, and the way IRC works it
generally doesn't matter which server (only which network) you use --
things work the same.

So the list of people you might be looking for might be larger than
expected, and some of them may have never used that server ...

Actually I am looking for the people that was there after the split
from EFNet. Not many: about 20 regulars, but great people all of
them. :-)

I used to use irc-2.mit.edu many, many years ago. My nickname was
iago. It's nostalgic to recognize all those names you listed. In fact,
I see the topic for #chatzone saying RIP Diogenes... I can recall
getting into arguments with him a literal decade ago! Sigh...
