I have 2 eggdrops, both with different problems, one in my local network,
the other on a host in the internet, but my remote bot doesn't want to DCC
with me. It runs on a Linux/SuSE 9.3Pro.
My local bot running on a Linux/Debian Sarge 3.1, 2.4.27-2-386 kernel and
has a problem running in the background (seems to be afraid with all the
other deamons ^^).
I use a Windows pc with xchat 2.8.0-1 silverex build. Connection to the
internet via a router so I've got an internal IP and I guess my xchat
provides this IP for DCCing.
I also have a bouncer tool runnig on the same host as my remote eggdrop. Any
solutions
a) how to make my remote want to DCC with me,
b) how to make my local want to run as a background process?
Thanks for your attention and suggestions.
