Iomega 750 bad disks

Why do so many Zip Disks go bad on my Iomega 750 Zip Drive, and can anything be done to save these disks?
Out of 11 750mb disks, 8 went bad. Out of 3 250mb disks, all are bad. However, the 1 100mb disk I have still works.

Hello Group, I have a zip file myfolder.zip, but the unzip folder name is "someotherfolder" I was expecting the unzip folder name to be "myfolder" but this is not true. My question is to find the name of the unzip folder name from the name of zip file. Is there a command to find out that. Please tell me. My search revealed no command.... more »

I had an external then internal iomega Zip drive on my 1995 Gateway. I believe I bought both from Gateway, but I know for sur ethe internal one, I did. I sold the external, but then got a use done for another machine. Can't restore data off my Zip drives

I'm trying to restore some data I saved on 4 Zip drives. It's from an old PC I'm going to retire that is getting very unreliable. I thought I ran the Backup correctly and saved the data on the Zip drives but maybe not. When i run the Restore, the software keeps asking me to insert the last disk from the backup. I must have lost it or copied over it... more »
