IIRC, several of the media label makers have software for the various
types of labels, e.g., CD's, VHS cassettes, floppy diskettes, ZIP disks,
etc. Search around.

 Twelve years is pretty good for a ZIP disk. Of course, it should have
been removed from the drive and stored in its neat, plastic box when
not in use. Magnetic media and the substrate do deteriorate when exposed
to the elements. If the information on the disk is important, consider
using a professional recovery outfit.

 I haven't used a 250, but the 100 had an emergency eject hole in the
back of the drive. You could stick a straightened paper clip in there
to force the drive to eject the disk. I would expect the 250 would
have that as well. Remove power from the drive before using it.

 Hi:
I have a zip 250 external drive, and I have a disc jammed in it. No
amount of button pressing or "mouse command" will move it. If press
the green button all I get is a buzzing as if its trying, but
something is jamming it. The mouse action only gets a message that
there is no disc in the drive.
