There is a cool idea of a 6 stroke ICE (Crower) whereby steam is made
to produce power and to cool the engine.

The idea of using the heat to generate power gave me an idea; why not
cool the engine with a Sterling?

In addition to the conductive heat, perhaps the exhaust could also be
used to power the Sterling?

What say you?

Not a very efficient way to recover energy.

I agree that "using" all that wasted heat could increase fuel economy

I suggest through, the conversion of that heat, straight to electrical
power, (there is a way to do this with no moving parts) in a hybrid car,
would be the best way to get the most miles out of the wasted BTU s from
it's engine, using today's technology

12 hours super hot at no cost. 12 hours cooling at no cost. What's wrong
with using nature as our perpetual motion machine?
