In 1775 the People of this Continent took their own Materials and Labor, and
neither raining Taxes, nor Borrowing from a Bank, they bent their Plowshares
into Swords, and formed the first Privately Owned Army called "The
Continental Army." After the Job was done, George Washington dismissed his
Troops, and they took their Guns, their Cannon, their Lead, and their
Powder, and went Home with them. They established this Private Army before
they established the US Government. And they established the US Government
to defend this right of owning a Private Army, and gave the responsibility
of National Defense to the People, with the Second Amendment.
Raising Taxes for Manpower and Materials to build and maintain an Army
raises Inflation The US Constitution was written to keep the Armed Forces
out of the Hands of Politicians and Special Interest Groups, to stop them
from causing excess demand on Manpower and Materials that causes Inflation.
Building and Maintain an Armed Force alone, causes Inflation, and the Cost
of Building and Maintain an Armed Force is Inflated, when the Money is
borrowed from any Bank that collects Interests.
So the Gold Standard was set up, so that the People and the US Government
would not have to borrow from any Bank and pay Interests, they have the
Right to Coin their own Money!

This has also appeared to be a very extraordinary dispensation, in that
the Spirit of God has so much extended not only His awakening, but
regenerating influences, both to elderly persons, and also to those who
are very young. It has been heretofore rarely heard of, that any were
converted past middle age; but now we have the same ground to think that
many such have at this time been savingly changed, as that others have
been so in more early years. I suppose there were upwards of fifty
persons converted in this town above forty years of age; more than
twenty of them above fifty; about ten of them above sixty; and two of
them above seventy years of age.
It has heretofore been looked on as a strange thing, when any have
seemed to be savingly wrought upon and remarkably changed in their
childhood. But now, I suppose, near thirty were, to appearance, savingly
wrought upon between ten and fourteen years of age; two between nine and
ten, and one of about four years of age; and because I suppose this last
will be with most difficulty believed, I will hereafter give a
particular account of it. The influences of God's Holy Spirit have also
been very remarkable on children in some other places; particularly at
Sunderland, South Hadley, and the west part of Suffield. There are
several families in this town who are all hopefully pious. Yea, there
are several numerous families, in which, I think, we have reason to hope
that all the children are truly godly, and most of them late
