Perhaps a more likely cause is the 400,000 plus gallons of oil
floating through the Mississippi, spilled yesterday after a barge
collided with a tanker at New Orleans. As for inclement weather, at
the time McCain would have been taking center-stage on the oil rig,
Hurricane Dolly, a Category 2 storm, was making landfall at the Texas-
Mexico border about 600 miles away.
John McCain's campaign is placing increasing importance on its
emphasis of allowing offshore drilling and drilling in the Alaskan
National Wildlife Refuge as a means to reduce US dependence on foreign
oil, and public support has been increasing, finds a recent Wall
Street Journal/Washington Post poll.
Yet yesterday, when a barge on the Mississippi river at New Orleans,
was 'T-boned' an oil tanker -- snapping the barge in half on impact
and causing a 419,000 gallon oil spill -- the GOP candidate became a
bit shy of the issue.
There's no relationship between the two. Your illogic is a non-sequitur and
as usual, flawed....
You dumb asshole, McSame's campaign staff cited the hurricane for
cancelling the speech.
Goddamn, you rightards are so fucking stupid.

You tried connecting some oil spill far away by saying "PERHAPS THE
REASON...."
You demagogues always get caught lying and just turn around and lie some
more.....
How typically liberal of your ilk!

The segue and non-sequiter are classic liberal argument ploys. One of their
favorite tricks is to slightly shift off topic, and incrementally get the
argument onto ground they are familiar with. Once they get to a question you
can't answer, usually off the topic you started on, they smugly declare that
they have won the debate. If they can't accomplish that, then they attack
you personally and pretend to be above you.
I know and you nailed it, the classic liberal mo.....
