At least two people, including a teenager, were killed and 11 wounded in
weekend violence in Chicago.
The latest happened Sunday night when a 27-year-old man was fatally stabbed
on the 4000 block of South Wabash Avenue in the Grand Boulevard
neighborhood. No charges have been filed in the case as police continue
looking for the person responsible.
In a separate incident a 14-year-old boy was shot to death Sunday afternoon
on the city's West Side.
Last weekend two people were killed and 20 injured in violence across the
city. Police Supt. Garry McCarthy said Chicago saw a 69 percent decline in
homicides in March, with 36 fewer murders than in March 2012.
