Don't count votes before they are cast. Remember 1972. Despite very
heavy anti war sentiment, the hawk Nixon was reelected over the anti
war McGovern. The race in 2012 will be decided on the economy and
health care. Both should be in good shape by then. In 1972 the
casualties were in the tens of thousands and Nixon still won.Remember
also that Obama lost our age group in 2008 so we are a poor predictor
of what will happen. The voters are fickle, up and down.

for sending them and the strategy that he has devised to bring them all

Depends on whether Obama's programs do him in before the Republican Party
self-destructs with its "purity" policies which may reduce it to a small
