Live human experiments are underway at this time in the field of
nanotech, particularly nanomedicine. An announcement could be made
-now- based on current results, but it's going to be a little while.
All at once, the announcement will be a shock to the world, that
announcement being that due to the advances of nanomedicine, diseases
presently classified as "more than 50% terminal" will be upgraded to
"more than 90% curable", then very soon thereafter, natural human
disease will be eliminated entirely as all diseases find and receive
an effective and final cure.

Just for the sake of argument, assume you believe that I'm right. Do
you have any idea what this scenario means for humanity's future?
