Ok, we're going to play a game of " I DOUBT IT! "
Cite your source. Now, prove this actually happened, Ed, and that you
didn't dream this up out of your own sick perversions.
I doubt it.
> < SNIP! >
Annnnnnnd ... when YOU tried it, you didn't even DO IT RIGHT - leading
to a warning to you about sending bio-hazards in unregistered
containers through the US Postal Services.
And just remember, Ed. The USPS has Postal Inspectors - and THEY carry
both BADGES and GUNS. If you pull that stunt AGAIN, there's a Federal
Jail cell waiting for you.
Sending bio-hazards improperly through the mail is an ACT OF TERRORISM,
and will be addressed by HOMELAND SECURITY as well as the OIG of the
USPS.
Just don't do it again, Ed, and you can continue to harass your
relatives.
I'd REALLY hate to see a senile old man like you locked up for the rest
of your life, because of a mistake your family made by not assuming
control over your afairs any sooner! That would just be SAD.
=========================
BTW ... I still completely doubt Erickson did any such thing - even
though the story has him doing it with one half gram more class than
when you tried it.
I challenge you to provide provenence and proof of that sick little
fairy tale.

Nope!
No proof.
'Didn't happen.
And, according to counsel, such an action under today's laws could
still be actionable under the Patriot Act, though it would depend on
how the prosecutor and the Postal Inspector were feeling at the time as
to whether they wantd to procede against someone who "pulled such a
stupid stunt" (her words, not mine). Even the seeming pretense of
sending a biological substance that COULD be dangerous COULD actionable
under Patriot Act, violation of the U.S. Postal Codes regarding the
shipping of bio-hazardous materials as well as under actionable as a
civil tort assault by biological agent. That could mean a lengthy and
expensive defense in both civil and federal criminal courts.
So think twice before trying your little stunt, Ed. Think REAL hard.
The sentences for such acts are NOT fun and you do not go to Club Fed,
but to a REAL federal prison and get put in with hardened federal
criminals for pulling such a stunt these days.
Just an FYI.

Yes, Ed ... your name is MUD.
Now tell me ... what's that word or phrase?
You know, the one that means enticing someone to commit a crime - show
them how to do it - then try and play like you're not the mastermind of
a criminal conspiracy when someone actually steps up to the plate and
commits the crime you're suggesting???
You know ... the word or phrase they use in sentencing you ...
"Aiding and Abetting," no, that's not it. "Criminal Enticement"?
That's closer ... "Contributing to the Delinquency"? Nahh ... that
only applies when the sucker who commits the crime you're suggesting is
a minor.
I just can't think! What IS that word, Ed?
If you can't remember, I suppose I'll have to call homeland security,
and ask them. And you KNOW I have contacts with them, where I work,
don't you, Ed?
I'll be sure to mention your name, next time I'm speaking with an
agent.
Oh, hey! They're STILL looking for that guy who spread the anthrax,
you know? And there are about two DOZEN people in JAIL, right now, for
sending TALC POWDER through the USPS.
Do you think the Postal Inspectors need to speak with you, again?
Obviously single trial learning does NOT work with Ed.
Let's try this:
US Postal regulations:
C023 describes the standards, restrictions, and prohibitions for
mailing hazardous
materials, such as explosives, gasses, flammable and combustible
liquids,
flammable solids, oxidizing substances, organic peroxides, toxic and
infectious
substances, radioactive materials, and corrosives. It also provides
information on
package markings, shipping papers, and warning labels
Definitions -
a) Hazardous material s any article or substance designated by the
U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT) as being capable of posing an
unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property during
transportation. In
international commerce, hazardous material is known as dangerous goods
Hazardous Materials
Mailer Responsibility
1.4 Full responsibility rests with the mailer to comply with all
postal and nonpostal laws
and regulations regarding the mailing of hazardous materials. Anyone
who mails,
or causes to be mailed, a nonmailable or improperly packaged hazardous
material
can be subject to legal penalties, including but not limited to those
specified in 18
USC
b.
Clinical (diagnostic) specimen
means any human or animal material
including, but not limited to, excreta, secreta, blood, blood
components,
tissue, and tissue fluids, collected and being shipped for purposes of
diagnosis.
That's the specific rule that says "thou shall not ship poop," that's
"excreta," Ed. It also shows that if someone BELIEVES that you shipped
poop, they can sue your backside for the perceived threat to their
health and safety, just like being threatened with a realistic looking
gun. If the threat is perceived AS being real, it IS real in the eyes
of Civil Torts law. In fact, that's part of the definition OF a civil
torts assault.
Look it up.
Penalty is pretty steep, too.
Ed obviously does NOT read for content. Ed, READ my last post! If
someone does this under current U.S. Law, they will be prosecuted under
Title 18 of the US Federal Code. Shipping excreta or materials that
are hazardous, is a FELONY.
Under civil torts law, the appearance of shipping excreta is exactly
the same thing AS shipping excreta and civil reparations could be
levied in court.
Regardless of the outcome of the case, the defense in such a suit would
be QUITE expensive!
You can post your little cut-and-paste rant ad nauseam and ad
infinitum, but it doesn't make it legal to do what you seem to be
advising someone to do - and in civil torts the SEEMING is the key. If
someone states in court that they did this because they believed that
YOU had ADVISED them to do so via your CONSTANT posting of this tale in
here and the statement that it "did the trick" with regards to making
someone stop their annoing behavior, then you would be subject to legal
action.
Get a clue! Mine comes from three law professors at Northwestern
University.
Think about it, guys! Erickson was, in is daughter's own words, quite
a prankster.
I'm not saying it's below his level of stature ... it's just got some
OTHER logical holes in it ....
... big enough to drive an entire NLP seminar through ...
... think about it! Does it make sense? What's missing, here? Do the
outcomes of this fairy tale make actual sense?
No. It didn't happen at all ... and I'd like to see proof to the
otherwise.
Make me eat my words. I dare ya!
" And they all lived happily, forever and ever. "
-- Mother Goose ( Original NLP Instructor )
" ... and when she woke, and looked under her pillow, the frog she had
placed there had turned into a rich and handsome prince! Of course,
they married, and she bore many happy children. And do you know, to
this vrey day, her MOTHER has never beileved a WORD of it! "
-- Midnight Mother Goose ( the unexpurgurated version )

So what you're saying, Ed, by not saying anything new, and by not
answering my dare to pony up any provenance for that preposterous and
legally dangerous airy-fairy tail is ...
... you're saying you just made it up.
You made it up, because you actually SENT one of your own human
poopies, all packaged up in children's present wrapping, to one of your
critics as an act of revenge ... and you sent it to him by US Mail, in
an improperly secured, improperly labeled pacage, thereby ENDANGERING
OFFICERS OF THE US MAIL by exposing them to disease carying bio-wastes
... thereby commiting an act of FELONY ASAULT.
You made the story up because you wanted to lessen how STUPID it makes
you look by pretending a well-known and respected luminary did
something remotely similar, once.
Well, it's still a lie ... and not a very clever one, at that.
You see, Ed ... Erickson was a prankster, I hear ... but he wasn't
anywere REMOTELY AS STUPID AS YOU ... he was NEVER so stupid as to try
such a stunt and expect a positive outcome ...
... but of course, I'd still like to see you prove me wrong.
It's just that you can't, can you?

Lee, you are among the most annoying little twits I know of. If you
were to observe half the things I do in parks and malls you would
probably foul your trousers.
