Subject: Neologism: 'html-junk'?
Edward Tufte coined the term 'chart junk' to refer to graphic elements
in graphs and charts that _hide_ rather than reveal the important
meaning.

So by analogy, should we call all the crap on webpages (especially
popups and banner ads and irrelevant giant navigation-menus) that
hides the real content, 'html junk'?  Is there a better term already
in use somewhere?
