I'm not sure how long ago it was, someone posted a critique request for
this site on this 'group.

http://www.ticon.net/~finke/

I've found this an interesting and amusing site, and I had it made
available offline.  However, for no apparent reason (no, it wasn't that
disk cleanup thing) the pages soon vanished from my hard drive.

Since then, every time I have tried to access it it has given me
this "The page cannot be found" error.

What has happened to this site?

Stewart.

That would have been me who posted the critique request, and imagine
how surprised I was to see that subject that you listed...

It was my first site, hosted through my ISP, and since then I moved,
causing the site to move also.  I don't find the time too often to
update it, but it now sits at http://www.cefenterprises.com/ or
http://www.opticdesign.com/humor/ .  Enjoy!

(And in the case that you're using Netscape 4.08 or lower, you will
also notice that it has become an attempt at learning CSS positioning.
Any helful hints on this?)

Chris,

Thank you for your reply.  I've just checked it out, but my Internet
connection seemingly packed up while I was trying to get it downloaded.

It would be good if you added three more to your Bad Puns page; then number
4 would neatly describe the page.

As it happens, I use IE5.  And I'm in the process of learning CSS.  It looks
a bit odd the way the underlines disappear when you hover or click on links
... was this meant to happen?

Stewart.
