so is there a way to block all such posts on mass or is it a case of
blocking each one individually, apologies for mine ignorance?

What spam are you talking about? In newsgroups?
http://twovoyagers.com/improve-usenet.org/
You'll need a better newsreader, though. Simply blocking Google Groups
kills nearly all the spam. Emphasize *all*.

Normally, there is no point in "blocking sender" as the spammers rarely
use the same From address more than once, so you end up with a huge list
that is useless.

Also depends a lot on your Usenet provider. I'm using Eternal September and
see very little spam, and what does make it through usually disappears very
quickly.

Everyone needs to send compliant to ab...@google.com
Also, if you have time, send copy to the people whose products are being
pirated. It will take a bit of time but they will take action.
Companies such as Nike can not afford to let this continue.
Unfortunately the spam comes from botnets, but the connections are to
Chinese websites. To find the IP route it came from do a control U and
it will show the headers. c^uac will copy them and you can paste them
to the complaint. Unfortunately it does take a bit of your time but I
have been doing this for almost 20 years now. Recently several C&C
sites have been shut down but it takes time.

The spamming is coming from botnets so there is no particular Ip you
could block.
The best policy at the moment is to just take a moment and forward each
of them to:
groups...@google.com

Eventually google will have to set up their filters to block them from
the news groups. I have been doing it once a day and I think there has
been a decrease. Just forward, paste the abuse address in the send to
ahd click, it only takes a second or two.
