Description: The horror genre.

Timecrimes...
Decided to give this a go after a few positive reviews here. It's watchable although the ending is crap. In fact, the whole storyline is bollocks when you stop to think about it. Don't bother making a film with a story triggered by a single event if you haven't even bothered to come up with a single explanation for the... more »

Hollywood Monster Robert Englund's (kind of) Biog
Just read this. Kinda fun with lots of little anecdotes etc. As I read it, I could hear him narrating it in my head. Worth a library rental - if they would stock it. Bought it from Forbidden Planet, still my favourite shop in London as the book section for horror etc is still soooo much better than Borders (pretty non-existent) and... more »

OT when cinema and child custody collide...
Ever have one of those "I'm mad as hell and I'm going to shriek at everyone about how mad I am" months? The last month included a trip to the psych ward after one of those cry-for-help-with-a-razor-blad e incidents (not by me), and the first thing out the mouth of The Man is about how my attire is inappropriate. And he smiled as he said it.... more »

Early Lifshine
Here's one of Lifshine's 'college' papers, transcribed for your amusement. At 19, he clearly has the literacy skills of a 13 year old; the teacher's comments indented <>. Oh yes, Lifshine just LOVES going to Camp Sussex... ============================== ============================== ============================== =================... more »
