I have been looking for this movie forever. I've heard some pretty good
reviews here and elsewhere and usually when I take alt. horror's word I'm
not disappointed. But I can't find the damn thing ANYWHERE! I've tried
three area blockbusters, my local video store and two other area chain
stores close by.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

wow. on the contrary: it IS available *almost* everywhere. It might not be
available at Crapbuster, but it should be available at other non-corporate video
stores. It DID get a US video release, and that tape still is floating around.

That tape should be available at any non-blockbuster store. European Trash
Cinema sells the Spanish language version which contains the original full
length ending which explains the movie as an alcohol-induced nightmare of
Murray Brown's. This is on of ETC's best kept secrets. I liked the movie so
much I bought the Magnum Beta tape, which I never would have thought existed

Yes, I've heard about this. Perhaps--only perhaps--this ending would have
improved the film, as the version I saw did not contain it. I take it Brown is
the sleazy-looking fellow at the house who has become addicted to the brunette
vampire's love. Well, it would make sense that such a sickly and weak-souled
fellow would be an alcholic (No offense intended towards alcoholics). And
Craig of ETC all but gave me an earful for not ordering it from him but instead
from OTE Video.

Thanks to everyone who has responded to my question so far. I've always
felt that alt.horror is a wonderful community. I've never been disappointed
in anything this newsgroup has suggested or recommended.

Thanks again!

Of course a private collector like myself who owns the Magum tape
would be a much more affordable option than paying Luminous $28 for it.

Point taken, Terry, but this _is_ where I got my copy and it is the only
answer I could give.
I only know one trader and he didn't have this film until he got it from
me.
