This looks really good! I hope it comes out soon. Unfortunately the
Rainey title has been published in at least one other collection I
have, bt it is a superb story for those who have not read it yet.

I might as well add that my story is about one of the more neglected
of Lovecraft's creations, the gnoph-keh.

An interesting group of cold weather beasties. I've used Gnoph-Keh as
the Rhan-Tegoth avatar. I've tried to steer clear of the front line
beasties, but not always successful. Using lesser known beasties is
more fun, and creating my own, of course.

Allow me to say beasites aren't all they are. Lovecraft also referred
to them as humans that were pushed out by the Eskimos. And it turns
out there was a culture that was pushed out of Northern Canada and
Greenland. Coincidence?
