Chime sync for a Seth Thomas mantel clock, model 119.

We recently had our Seth Thomas 119 mantel clock serviced. It was inherited from a family member. The clock wouldn't run. After servicing, the time now works properly and so do the chimes, sort of.

Does anybody know the history of the Indian company's HMT Ranjit
mechanical automatics? They show day and date.
I am told by a watch seller in India that HMT don't manufacture them
any more. I am wondering when that started and stopped making them.

Casio W71 (549 module) Battery Replacement

Hello, all. Just got around to finally replacing the battery (CR2016) in the subject alarm chrono watch that I purchased in the early 1980s. What a hassle! The coin cell was held in place by a spring bracket that just wouldn't come off its retaining tabs. Perhaps there's a tool for this but I was just using a jeweler's screwdriver.
