Epoxy over oil paint

My garage floor needs repainting and I want to use one of the 2 part epoxy
paints. It was previously painted with oil base porch paint. Do I need to
totally strip away the old oil paint before I can use the epoxy. Whats the
best way to strip, I have a sand blaster.

I agree with all of the above, and in addition, can say that the epoxy
should work extremely well based on my experience in painting a slab
that had not held paint well previously.

I hit it with a pressure washer today and it took up maybe 3/4 of the
remaing paint. Will let it dry out for a day and finish up with the sand
blaster.
