A few years ago, my daughter did a terrific job sponge painting her bedroom
with 3 colors. It looks like parchment paper -- very pretty. My husband
redid the drywall for a room next to hers. In doing so, he popped the
drywall nails out on her side. Needless to say, we don't have any of the
paint left over and don't remember what colors we bought. Are we pretty
much hosed (patch the popped nails and repaint everything) or is there a
real creative answer out there somewhere??? Her one wall pretty much looks
like it was shot in vertical rows with a machine gun!

Thanks,
Pam

It might be possible to put something different on one wall and have
it look okay. Like--
A "plain" wall covered with posters or picture
A sponge painted wall with the same color but a different design,
maybe larger versions of the patterns on the other wall
A wall-papered wall. (be sure to prime the patched drywall first so
you don' t have to post "how to remove wallpaper" some day, lol!)
Or your daughter can get creative and paint a mural or design on the
wall. Hey, maybe a plain light colored wall and have her friends
autograph it?

Let us know what you decide!

Get out the hose unless you want to cover the area with something else.
