We have an Insignia 200W DVD Home Theater system NS-H2001 that has
been great since the day we got it. We bought a new TV last year and
upgraded to a BluRay home theater system so disconnected the Insignia
system and stuck it in a closet. A week ago I stumbled across it,
packed it up and gave it to my son. He took it home and when he
plugged it in there was no lights, no display, nothing. This unit
worked perfect when we disconnected it and all we did was set it in a
box and put it in a closet.

Pulled the cover off and checked for obvious issues like a
disconnected power cord and all and everything I can see appears
fine. No burned components on the boards, nothing loose or
disconnected, and also no reset switch or anything that appears to be
a fuse or circuit breaker of any kind.

Any suggestions on how to get this back up and running or what it
might be? Had my son's hopes all up he was getting a free home
theater system but now he has a dark box and some quiet speakers :O(

Any and all help greatly appreciated.
