"Transporter room, this is Lt. Thomas. Two to beam from access duct H13
into separate cells. On my mark."
[Transporter room ready, sir.]

Thomas waited until the two Newells separated once again: "Energize!"

Scene: Security cells

They all gathered if front of the cells. Both Newells sat quietly, each
in his own cell.
"My tricoder doesn't work through this force field," said Stark. "Anyone
care to bet which is the real one?"

A cold glance from Turek was the only answer. "I can sense the real
Newell is in the left cell." he added after a moment.

The 'Newell' in the right cell disappeared abruptly.

"Engineering, prepare to vaporize the entire content of cell 2. On my
mark." said Thomas.

"WAIT!" a foggy humanoid shape appeared in the right cell. "I have
important information for you, you will all die if you won't listen to me!"

"I must say I'm curious what information can he give us." said Kinn. "But
how can we know what he says is true?"

Stark freed Newell from his cell. "You know the Vulcanian Universal IQ
Tester device? We can use it on this thing. Lies will produce variations
in its IQ.". He touched his comm: "Mr. Jarik, will you please fetch the
IQ tester and come to Security?"
[Right away, sir!]
