http://www.todayinah.co.uk/index.php?thread=Federal_Lost_Cause we have explored the conditions for a McClellan Victory in 1864 which begins with a "Jackson Lives after Chancerlorsville, Longstreet dies at the Battle of Wilderness" scenario (but after Longstreet had won the Battle of Chickamauga).
Lots of detail to argue about of course, but what I want to achieve is that Little Mac's victory prompts a libertarian revision so in effect the Federal Government absorbs some of the disputed aspects of the secession (e.g. reconciliation rather than reconstruction). Thoughts welcome, my email is
