Hello,
I have just completed a book on the Titanic disaster which I hope will
be of interest to you. I have taken a novel approach where the main
narrative is punctuated by interludes which explore different and
controversial facets of the disaster. For instance, it ponders on the
fate of Captain Smith, Jack Phillips, and the band; it also discusses
the evidence on whether the steerage were held back from the boats,
whether the crew were inefficient in loading the boats, why the
iceberg was not seen till too late, and so.

The book is at http://www.amazon.com/The-Titanic-Everything-Against-ebook/dp/B007JWL6G4/ref=zg_bs_157551011_19
- its on Kindle, but if you don't have that, you can download a
version of the ereader that will work on mobile phones, iPad, desktop
computers etc. ( for instance, free versions can be obtained here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=dig_arl_box?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771
)

I hope you enjoy the book,

With kind regards

Simon

Since no-one else has replied, I thought I'd add my own 2p. I bought
this book and enjoyed it. A concise summary with some novel
conclusions that made you think about the disaster in a new light. I'm
not sure that any inquiry (which didn't happen because of the nuances
of the law) into the 1909 loss of the Republic would have changed the
lifeboat laws, but the section discussing whether everyone could have
been saved if there had been enough boats gave food for thought.

Hello Eugene,
Thank you for ordering my book and I am pleased that you are enjoying it so far ;)

I am working on another book which will be out by the 101st anniversary in April. Health permitting, this new book will be the middle book in a Titanic
trilogy.

Happy reading

Simon
