I have just completed a book on the Titanic disaster which I hope will
be of interest to you. I have taken a novel approach where the main
narrative is punctuated by interludes which explore different and
controversial facets of the disaster. For instance, it ponders on the
fate of Captain Smith, Jack Phillips, and the band; it also discusses
the evidence on whether the steerage were held back from the boats,
whether the crew were inefficient in loading the boats, why the
iceberg was not seen till too late, and so.
