How can anyone be proud of Oxfordshire? They all wear smocks and check

I think I popped into Chalgrove once, on the way up the M40. I have
never been to Thame - no doubt the Hampden Society chappy who pops up
regularly will now ostracise me :-) In my defence, I've been in exile

So I've heard. Not a bad thing, actually. With swindon coming down,
it's time to renew the "Twyford Triangle" rivalry. Plus, with the
burgeoning rivalry with Wycombe developing, it looks like we might have
a few derbies next year!... And another three points from the Manor...

Michael and all:
I've been a lurker for most of the time since I found this NG, and like
Michael, have been more active on SHM. However, I'm gathering material for
a book that takes place in medieval Britain, so I guess now is a good time
to delurk whenever something interesting comes up!
