I have a 318 with a 904 trans out of a '76 Aspen. I also have a 340 engine, forged crank, so it is internally balanced. Is the 318 also internally balanced so I can use the transmission and torque converter with the 340. Also if anyone knows the part numbers for a new tranny mount and lip seals for this tranny?... more »

e-body engine mounts that won't pull apart?

I always have this problem on drivers side. Recently tried a "high performance" unit from Jim's Auto Parts which was supposed to have special interlocking to prevent being pulled apart from torque, but not so. I'm trying to avoid using a strap or cable to preserve stock appearance. Solid mounts would not be comfortable.... more »
