I have a 318 with a 904 trans out of a '76 Aspen. I also have a 340
engine, forged crank, so it is internally balanced. Is the 318 also
internally balanced so I can use the transmission and torque converter with
the 340. Also if anyone knows the part numbers for a new tranny mount and
lip seals for this tranny?

Thanks Dave

I've never seen an externally-balanced 318, but I won't quite swear that
one never existed. If the harmonic balancer doesn't have an asymmetric
section, and if the 318 torque convertor has no small triangular weights
welded to it, then its internally balanced.

Tranny mount depends on the vehicle application. Napaonline.com is your
friend.
