A fellow diabetic is raving about DAFNE, following a
5-day course he attended.
To me (as a type 1 diabetic for 50 years), the main
issue with DAFNE appears to be the freedom to eat,
which isn't a major concern to me.
On researching DAFNE on the internet, I find very
few references to it in medical journals, and what few
occur tend to be dated during 2001-2003, which I
find strange if it is such a ground-breaking exercise.
I wondered whether anyone using this ng had an
opinion.
Secondly, DAFNE appears to issue a specific guidebook
in which foods are converted into either the amount of carbo,
or the insulin required.
Does anyone know if this is available on the internet?
Thanks.
