Hi John,

Just keep an open heart and mind and enjoy the moment. It won't hurt, that's
for sure :-)

that was maybe due to that ( I fired my Master) :-).. but as we all

I was told to drink at least 2 litres of water a day...well, that can't
hurt anyway also after the cleansing period...
Also to give myself at least a self-healing session a day...

Aye ... and to be honest, I'd never heard of it until a few
years ago .. the techniques, however, I developed intuitively
well before then ..

As Theo intimates ... the process started with your decision to do
this ...

July is a few months away .. will you back out?

I doubt it ... :)

Hi John, Let me give you my experiences. Reiki 1 attunement for me was
quite dramatic. However I received it in a group of 4. One lady saw
lots of colours, one had an intense feeling of peace and contentment

others. I experienced nothing major, but got a serious fit of the
giggles which was nice:-) One lady yawned all through it and felt as
if she was being pushed back in her seat. Another lady felt nothing.
The next had a huge amount of colours going on and the last felt calm
and at peace.
In conclusion, just as others have said, don't expect anything. I have
experienced 9 attunements including my own and every one has been very
different. You are right in what you said in your post in that if you
are looking for something to happen, you may be disappointed. Look at
it this way, your attunement is a few minutes in your life. What it
gives you is there for the rest of your life.

Enjoy it

of shocking pink ,green end yellow, and I asked why!
and he said were emotions I was releasing ..
I had another time during meditation such images but not as that
intense

Alnwick, Northumberland (south of the border, down Mexico
way) ... once home of the Percy family (Harry Hotspur, he got done
for in battle at Shrewsbury in 1403, but as a consequence of Henry IV's
victory, one of my ancestors was executed as a supporter of Richard II
[see Shakespeare's Henry IV Part I])

Ah, but cannot the precepts be used apart from hatsureiho? Yet what is
hatsureiho without the precepts but another kiko exercise?

And thanks for the explanation on the smiley with aureole - I thought
it was just a boob over your head. ;-)

HI Garry

Garry wrote:

> Ah, but cannot the precepts be used apart from hatsureiho? Yet what is

as I learned :
the precepts should be said as first thought in the morning and as
last thought before sleeping ..
and whenever during the day you think they might help you ..
but nobody will kill you if you don't ..:-)

and than precepts are supposed to be pronounced after you say *I
start Hatsurei Ho* and at the end of the session after you say * I am
ending hatsuri ho*
but here again it is up to you if you want to make a mystic ritual
or a simple one.. the intention is the basic motor IMHO the rest is
the container of the cake
the routines of reiki is in some textes , splitted , if you cannot do
all in one session you can do it splitted piece by piece in different
moment of the day ..
this is teh problem with people taht always want to join something
personal to what they learned to *make it better* and all gets a
confusion ...
in french is a saying :
< bien faire et laisser braire ..>
in short : act according your common sense and leave donkeys bray
does that suit you?

love and light

I have had four reiki treatments. On the first one I could feel heat
all round my head. I became really relaxed and went into I guess a
mediative state. I seemed to feel compasion for everybody. Things that
happended to me in the past popped into my head but I just felt
compassion. After the treatment I for the rest of the day I felt like
I was on cloud nine.
