It's just a tiny bit warmer here but you have a tad less humidity, it must
be the sea keeping ours up.

Good morning Bri and all.
A sunny start with temperature if 13C (55F) with an ESE wind at only 3
mph. Wowee!!
Temperature expected to rise to 57/59C though usually cooler on the coast.
Looks like a warm!! day.

Tesco bus early then I think a relaxed afternoon on my patio - I had better
apply the suncream, people are already asking me if I have been on holiday!
I do tan quickly - probably due to my Italian ancestors.

Make the most of this sunshine as it is going to turn cold and wet later.

Good morning Froggie - A beautiful sunny morning with very little wind at

Good morning Bri, it is a lovely sunny start here too. The temperature
is 12.1C (53.8F), RH 76% and pressure 1027 millibars. A sunny day is
forecast with an expected high of 18C, about 64F.

Rob is away to the eye hospital for a check up shortly so I'm catching
up on the washing and ironing. I thought of going with him for moral
support but I can be better employed getting on with things at home.

Have a good day yourself. :-)

Good morning Froggie, I'm delighted I went and got on with the washing

It's a really beautiful morning here and we should reach temperatures in

Good morning Jackie, similar weather here and an expected high in the
mid sixties - 18C. The wind is from the SE here too so will keep things
a bit cooler.

Enjoy your TESCO trip. I'm getting organised in the house this morning
as Rob is away for an check up at the eye hospital soon.

Have a lovely day. :-)

Mornin' from a warm, dry, bright and shiny South Yorkshire. BYT is here
with loads of blue and a few wfts to frolic among so far. Air
temperature out there is 16.2C (16.2F), barometric pressure is still
falling at 1019 mB and relative humidity is signing in at 59%. WW
reckons it was 16.1C, 1018.3 mB and 48% in Sheffield 10 minutes ago.
But then there hygrometer isn't situated near water, mine is. Forecast
is for mostly sunny with no chance of any falling wet stuff all day with
temperature to rise to 18.9C (66.0F) by lunch time and remain there
'tl at least 17:00.
Have a good day one and all,m not forgetting the slip, slap, slop if
you're gonna sun bathe.

Good afternoon Bernadette - the lovely weather they forecast did not happen
here, soon after I posted that it became overcast with hardly any sunshine
at all, it has just peeped through now but I very much doubt it will reach
the temperatures stated. I think nearly everywhere is to be colder and
wetter from tomorrow - is that our lot???

I did my Tesco shopping, Joan was with her daughter today. It was very quiet
in there, probably because the school children had gone back to school
today.

I hope Rob's hospital visit goes well and that you have a very good day.

Don't blame you, FN:-)
It's been in the 80s most of the day here.
It's starting to cloud a little to the northwest of us so the blazing
sun has gone, just a bright haze.

But 24.09C (75.02f) is very warm for this time of day - that's what it
is now.

I'll be sorry when I get some warm/cold feelings back because this
inability to feel anything but comfy in any temp ranging from boiling to
a bit cold will be sadly missed ;-)

Good evening Jackie, the sun stayed with us until the sea mist started
to roll in about three o'clock by which time Dan had enjoyed a good run
and all my washing was dried - all four machine loads!

Tomorrow is due to be cloudier and cooler here but should remain dry
until the evening, after that we're back to the wet stuff. :-(
Today's highest was 16.9C (62.4F) so it has been t-shirt weather but I
took a warm knitted waistcoat for the walk "just in case".
>
> I did my Tesco shopping, Joan was with her daughter today. It was very

> school today.

It's a relief when the shops aren't filled with screeching infants (and
parents) as you can get around much more quickly.
>
> I hope Rob's hospital visit goes well and that you have a very good day.

Rob's check up was fine, thanks Jackie. Today was his field of vision
test and next Monday he gets the full works to see how well the drops
are working in controlling the tensions. He'll also have that cataract
checked out - he isn't as well off as me as he only has one and I now
have two!

It has been a good day because while he was away and the washing was
drying, I also got a good two or three hours work done in the garden.
I'm hoping Billy will be here to mow the grass tomorrow so I can carry
on weeding and getting the borders and pots how I want them.

I hope you've enjoyed your day despite it not being as sunny as promised
and that you have a nice evening. :-)

Good evening Froggie, it actually reached over 62F which suited me fine

Even if 3 x GMT threads are a record it'd be an awful waste of space, lol.

Good evening Bri, that's the best day I've had in a long time for
getting on and shifting the work - most of the washing dry, aired and
put away plus a couple of hours work in the garden before Rob got back.

Thank you, his check up went well and he was out again quite quickly.
Next Monday he goes for "the works" so Emily is driving him there and
back as he'll have all kinds of drops and tests used on him for that
one. He had a nice snooze after lunch so I got another hour done in the
garden and the rest of the washing dried before we took Dan for his
walk by the harbour.

Your walk sounds lovely, it makes such a difference when it is sunny. I
hope you have a nice relaxed evening after all that fresh air. :-)

He is gorgeous Bernadette, the last two I put up today had me laying on my
belly in the field to get a nice low angle but he stands there with such a
beautiful stance.
Yes he is a brindle and white but he is a quite light brindle some are very
dark.

He is coming on really well, I'm still training him at present due to his
previous upbringing, but he is a very willing dog and wants to learn. It
was decided to make sure he was fully settled in before embarking on
training to correct his few faults but it's going well now.

IMHO I think they update these software programs but keep the bulk of the
code as it is, because it worked okay at the time.

I've just been experimenting with an image, trying to expose the persons
name under the mouse curser. It used to work years ago in IE, by showing
the <alt> content, but doesn't work these days. I've done it now, but
slicing up an image in PhotoPlus produces HTML code that no longer works
properly. I bet it used to validate in earlier versions of HTML. :(

The trouble is technology moves so fast,

Thanks for pointing it out Bri, I shall have to see if there is any support
available in the forums that can help, otherwise I could be stuck with it

That must be something that happens to black dogs. When Dan came to stay
his face was all black and his white patch started under his chin and as
low as his throat. Now he has a little white chin and is developing a
white muzzle too. :-)

It makes such a difference when they are so willing to please and happy
to learn and Rocky certainly looks and behaves like a happy boy. Being
loved makes such a difference to them. :-)

I still put Dan through an hour of intensive training - "sit/wait/stay
close" and such like - as he seems to need a refresher course
periodically. He also understands the words "gently" and "leave it" as
well as others but those are the main ones.

I bet Dan loves it really :-)

Rocky's main problem was barking and lunging at people and other dogs but
only when he is on his lead, off lead he is great, but you can't have him
off lead all the time, we think it stems from the fact that in his previous
home he was shut in a garden with no contact with people of other dogs,
(why people have a dog if they are not going to look after it is beyond me)
he's coming on great though and now able to walk past people and other dogs
normally most of the time, of course Froggie feast chicken and beef have
played a vital part in the training ;-)
