Good morning Bri, we have thick fog and drizzle this morning but with
the promise of a brighter afternoon. The temperature is 8.7C (47.7F), RH
99% and pressure 1021 millibars. Yesterday evening was particularly
unpleasant with high winds and very heavy showers, there were warnings
of flash floods in this part f Fife.

I read that you had a nice meal out, it's such a good idea to go early
so the little ones can have a normal bedtime.

I hope you have a good day too. :-)

Good morning Bri and all. A cloudy morning at 13C(55F) with a 11 mph wind.
I was suprised when I saw the temperature. Forecast a dry day for most
except the south coast can expect occasional rain.

We have the French Market here again this week-end I will probably go and
have a look but things are so expensive there.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning Bernadette - A temperature is higher today at 13C(55F) but it
is cloudy here and the forecast says mainly dry except for south coast which
may have occasional showers. Your weather sounded nasty day yesterday and I
do hope it does brighten-up for you today.

I may go and look at the French Market that is here this week-end, it does
bring in the visitors but everything is so expensive.

I hope you have a good day and are able to go out.

Good morning Jackie.
We're up to 13 C now but I think it's going to be much warmer soon, we are
due for a warm one aren't we?

We have different types of markets too, last Thursday it was a farmer's
market. The produce looks very good but I don't like the way everything is
on display in the open air.

Good morning Bernadette, I hope your fog and drizzle soon disperse, it's
turning into a lovely day here, 13 C already.

We all had the carvery last night and it was delicious, despite the fact
that my spell checker doesn't understand what a carvery is. :(

Mornin' from a dry, warmer, overcast but bright South Yorkshire. Looks
like BYT might peek out soon but not here yet with air temperature at
11.8C (53.2F). barometric pressure on the up at 1013 mB and relative
humidity again at 80%. WW reckons it's 12.8C, 1012.9 mB and 73%.
Forecast is for partly cloudy with a 10% chance of falling wet stuff all
day with temperature to rise to 17.2C (63.0F) by early afternoon and
to remain steady until tea time..
Have a good day one and all.

Goof morning Jackie, it has brightened up a bit since earlier so we
could have a nice late afternoon - I'm hopeful.

The specialist markets here tend to be expensive too but they seem to be
confined to the larger centres and towns. Even the farmer's markets
aren't cheap. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds even if you don't
buy anything, it sounds as though it's be quite colourful.

I hope you have a nice day too. :-)

It is brighter than earlier Bri but still misty and the drizzle has
eased somewhat too.

Oh!I wouldn't worry about your spillchucker - it was a bit late for it
to object as you'd have eaten it all up by then. There are some super
pubs around that serve really excellent meals, it sounds as though you
have one of them.

I think she may just be a bit busy at the moment Froggie. She's been
preparing for her holiday and sorting things for her daughter and
grandson to stay while she is away, getting over that sore neck, having
her hair permed, helping Joan and enjoying the sunshine when it's there
- all of which take time. I've noticed she has posted less this week and
put it down to those things taking up time. :-)

No change, I'm afraid. I'll get my acquaintance at the pooter shop to
examine it for me tomorrow. Perhaps a new HD is required. If so he can
do that and then hopefully I can fire it ip and use the backup Macrium

including the 2GB recovery partitionv. If not I could get one from
ebay ( there were a few on there yesterday). Then I could do a recovery

Just a thought - have you tried holding down F10 while booting and going
into disk check?
It might allow you to reformat drive.

Good evening Bri - We have had a very cloudy day most of the day but it did
stay dry until about 4 p.m. when the sun came out and stayed out. I did go
to the French Market with Joan early afternoon, did not buy anything though.
We have a Farmers Market every week now on Friday, it started in April most
of the things there are
grown in local farms, at this market everything is just undercover in like
tents open at the front.

Had a nice relaxed evening and I hope you did too.

Good evening Froggie - sorry I did not reply to your post this morning but I
got caught up with one of my neighbours and got called away to their flat.

I am so sorry Froggie - I have replied to you - I had not read this post
then, I am just catching-up.
My neighbour in the next flat was knocking on my wall as he did not feel
well while I was on my computer
so I left quickly. I managed to contact his daughter and she took care of
him.

I have been rather busy lately as Bernadette has said with getting things
organised for my forthcoming holiday,
and keeping Joan company who is rather poorly just now I hope everything
settles down after my holiday.

Have a good evening.

Good evening Bernadette - Thank you for explaining to Froggie about my lack
of replies. I must admit I have been busy and then this morning while I was
on the computer I heard my neighbour banging on the wall with his stick, he
told me he did not feel well and could not manage to use the phone to ring
his daughter, I sorted that out for him and she came over very quickly from
Hastings and sorted things - it all seems to happen here! our Management are
not on duty at week-ends but we all have a pull-cord to Care Line who will
send an ambulance if we need one over the week-ends - during the week if we
pull that it is through to our Management who deal with any emergencies.

Regarding the farmers markets we have one every Friday now but as you say
things are not really cheap but then I suppose they are fresher and you know
they are from local farms.

I hope you have a pleasant evening.

Good evening again Froggie - It was lucky I was in when my neighbour knocked
on the wall. He is a disabled man and his daughter does come to him nearly
every day - she knows how to sort him - if he had not contacted me we all
have a pull-cord in our flats which we can use in an emergency - weekdays
Management answer it but week-ends we are on CareLine who answer to see if
we need an ambulance.

You have not upset me in anyway Froggie - I look forward to all the posts -
I am not easily upset, LOL!!

It should be Joe, but who knows. Now Nettie is the hands of the
professional who reckons that it is the HD that is defunct. As he has
quite a few other jobs in hand then it's going to take 5 days or so to
get round to it. So I'm only got a desktop to use atm. How restricting
that is now I've got used to having Nettie around the place.

When I queried him about using my Macrium backup mirror to retore
everything as it was, he didn't make too many positive noises as he
said, that in his experience, it doesn't always work.
