Although I really don't want, any I snapped a picture of one of the fields
where the boys are walked and it shows just how dry it really is despite
all the rain and waterlogged ground we had over winter.
The pic shows just a snapshot but this is all over the fields,

Thanks for the pic. Froggie, are you sure it's lack of moisture and the
field is not about to slip into the sea? :(

The surfaces are quite dry here too and the rainfall is quickly soaked
away, but there are still signs of the last flooding. The excavations for
services to a new estate are still about half full.

I've been tidying up the coding for my site a bit, I can now change the
background for every page by changing just the main CSS file.
See what you think?

The field at the harbour looks a bit like that Froggie but once it rains
it is waterlogged again. I think a few inches at the surface are very
dry but underneath is still sopping.

You wouldn't think so considering the dry spell we've had would you?

Oh yes, I like that much better, a lot easier on the eye, it's great this
CSS isn't it? makes life a lot easier.

That picture looks rather like some of the ground here Froggie - we have not
had a lot of heavy rain and these winds do seem to dry everything.

We haven't had enough rain lately to even thoroughly wet the surface so I
shall have to wait and see if ours is the same.

It doesn't seem that long ago the boys had to be washed off after every
walk due to the waterlogged ground and now it's like that.
