I just built and tested a DEMI 2304-144 transverter and it is now for
sale. Set up for 9.3W in at 144 MHz and gives 1.00W at 2304. The
receive sensitivity is good, with my 2304 MHz signal at -85 dBm giving
S8 to S9 on my FT-857 IF radio. Unit is built with common IF in/out,
split TX/RX at 2304 and requires a 10 MHz source for the synthesized
L.O. Switch is installed for dual frequency operation, but is not
wired. By wiring this switch, you can select between 2304 and one other
frequency - 2320 or 2424 MHz (NOTE: 2320 is NOT an authorized TX
frequency in the USA, but 2424 is). No T/R relay included, but unit is
built to work with standard 24V SMA relays. Photos of transverter on
the ham radio page at my website below. Unit has been tested at 2304
MHz only.
Price: $495.00. Save yourself 5 bucks and 18 weeks of your life
(DEMI's quoted lead time for factory built units). $15 shipping to
CONUS, $25 shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. No International shipping,
sorry (too much money and too much friggin' paperwork!
