Good advice, and a site well worth bookmarking.

However, the Whacked archives are no longer updated, and haven't been
for quite some time. Consequently, it's worth remembering that the
tools listed may not have been kept up to date with recent system
software versions.. oasis springs to mind (which doesn't log keystrokes
on systems above os8, and possibly earlier methinks.)

This is probably even more important when dealing with file wipers (as
a concurrent thread - to which you issued a similar reply - is doing)
because of possible conflicts with the HFS+ filesystem. Just ask Peter
Norton ;-)

Gawd, wonder what would happen if I tried to use an old version of burn
in classic on OSX-over-UFS.. :D
