But it means selling my beloved 1980 vintage Peavey T-60 guitar and my
Peavey Classic 30 tube amp.
For the nostalgia buffs, I am also selling a 1983 (Northern Hemisphere
"summer") edition of the Peavey "Monitor" magazine that includes an
article on the "T" range of guitars - including the T-60.
I've put all the goodies on ebay.

Dude, Maynard Ferguson died just two days ago. Immediately change your
auction title to include his name and you will get 5X the price for it.

A 1980 guitar is 'vintage'? Hmmm....
If it was a meat pie it would 'definitely' be vintage!
Guess I'm trying to deny that I'm getting old - I graduated from high
school in 1980, so I guess I'm 'vintage' too. sigh.
Old timer... I graduated in '81.... Why oh why did I sell my Silver
Sonex!!! :)
Isn't 20 years the rule?? What are you saying?? My two '83 Peavey
Vandenbergs aren't highly sought-after classics???? :) (Big Grin there)
With cars and motorcycles, I thought that was the case.
:)
I could be wrong, but I think that's the rule of thumb for something
being labeled 'classic'. I'm being stubborn and in denia, and
personally consider 'vintage' to be 60s/50s. Which still makes me
vintage since I was born in early 60's. Dammit...
I played this guitar when a band I gigged with did a local support for
INXS back in the days when they were still playing the pub circuit.
I guess that makes INXS vintage too.
BTW I am male am just using a silly pseudonym login.
Ask a 15 year old about a 1980 guitar, the little smart arses would
probably refer to it as prehistoric.
