Hi, I live abroad from US and i am thinking of purchasing a gibson
lessy, a marshall dsl and a 1960av cab off Music123.com.

They won't accept anything other than wire transfer so thats how i have
to deal with it....

Now herez what i wana know... anyone has any experiences with
music123.com? especially overseas.. I fear they might not fraud or
something with me u know cuz its a living that i am paying for my
gear......

Also, are their products always in their best form???

Love to hear back from u guys

They're great in the US but I'm not sure I like that wire transfer business.
If you do, for godsakes order only one thing and see how it goes, then order
more if it's OK.

I have bought from Music123 many times. I buy from all the major online
retailers, but have no loyalty, I buy from whoever has the best price on
what I want at the time.
I have only had one bad experience with M123 and that was actually from an
E-bay auction. I bought a trumpet mouth piece. I won the bid but found that
M123 did not have the item in stock. It took about 7 weeks for me to recieve
the item. The only reason I didn't totally blow a fuse was that I got the
M/P for less than 1/4 of what it would have cost me if I'd bought it
outright even at a typical net discount. I got a brand new $90 MP for $21
and it would have cost me over $100 if I'd bought it a local store.
Other than that, I have been happy with M123 and think they are better than
MF.
As for a guitar, I would be leary anyway about purchasing one I couldn't
actually play. Especially Gibson. But if that's your only option, M123 is as
good as any and better than some.
Oh yeah, now that I think about it. I purchased one of those cheap $99 Nady
power amps from M123. It was a major piece of shit, I sent it back with
several scratches from putting in my rack. They credited me full price with
no "take off" from the scratches or restocking fee. I thought that was
pretty cool.

I used to do business with them on a regular basis until about a year ago. I
ordered a Fender Stratocaster. They charged my credit card and after 30 days
I still had not received it. They even issued me tracking numbers, but the
items went other places besides to me. After 30 days I was obviously upset
as I had to pay my credit card but according to them my Strat had shipped
and been received although not by me. They would not answer emails and I had
to spend hours on the telephone on hold. I talked to a couple of rude people
who did nothing to help. I disputed the charge on my credit card to no
avail. Then I finally got to talk to someone who told me they were moving
their warehouse and my guitar had not shipped yet. The tracking numbers were
sent to me by mistake. I cancelled the order and finally got my money
refunded but decided that with that kind of customer service I would not do
business with them again. They are OK if you do not have an issue, but if
you have a problem they are not very willing to help you with it, or at
least that is my experience.

I had the same warehouse "moving" experience. Cancelled my order and
they credited my card. I've ordered a lot from Musciansfriend with no
issues.

within in the past 6 months i bought (or my wife ordered for me) a MIM
fender fretless jazz and an epiphone viola bass. both guitars played
perfectly out of the box. the only bad news was that the case for the
viola was not in stock so i had to wait several weeks before it
arrived. i just received my vox AD30 after only 3 days wait. perfect
condition. i've used several online music store, but i use music123
more that any other.
