director at an oldies station. The company gives him a master list of
songs to work from when he sets up the play lists for each day. The
list is like 500 hundred songs. When they have call in requests, the
song has to be on the master list or they won't play it. Occasionally,
they are allowed to do special programs outside of the normal master
list."
This is not good enough. The outlet must be total Wereo or nothing.

And *especially* the small ones..that's because a) they may not have,
or wish to have, an infintely large play-list and b) they want to keep
the riff-raff out.
