I got a music account on myspace. How do I set a background image ?
The faq says just edit your profile, but the edit profile part has
various subfields like bio/description. I saw no place to do this and
haven't found a good explanation by google searching though I have
found other stuff. I know some CSS and HTML. Does anyone know how hard
this is to do ? I just have a free myspace account.

You use said CSS and HTML within your profile descriptions. You know,
the place where you stick the text. Any one of the text boxes will do.

Just a guess, but I don't think on a server like that you'd be allowed to do
any scripting with CSS

Here's one of the better profile generators that I've seen. You can
change just about everything on your profile with this:

Or just Google 'myspace profile editor'.

I find that background images are annoying to look at especially if
they are busy. It is much easier to rad text against a solid, or semi
solid background.

I just find the whole myspace thing to be a bit naff.

I have been using that now thanks alot. Oe problem I have, it says to
paste the code in the "about me" section of your profile, but there is
no such section that I can find. I pasted what I did into my bio
section and it works fine except it seems to not get applied to my
title field, maybe because it comes after that ? Not sure, but the
title field is very limited on the amount of input it allows so you
can't past alot of CSS in there.
