We've just been lucky enough to release our third CD entitled, "Man and
Machine". The bits are floating around the Internet as we speak and
hopefully reconstituting at all the download sites. It should be
available at most of the sites including iTunes in about 2 weeks.
We also have the opportunity for some some guaranteed Internet Radio
airplay at Jango.com. We'd be most grateful for some input on which song
(or songs) we should choose for airplay. If you have some time and would
like to help us out, click the following link and use the 'widget' to
play the songs. It'd be great to hear which song(s) people think would
work better. The genre we'd be played with would be Metal.

I figured that one might get some nods. It's certainly the most
'mainstream' of the bunch. I like it too. It's got some great parts in
it for sure.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and reply.
Cool cover art! Is that Dee's kid? It looks like him.
Congrats on the album's release, Steve...While my favorites are Leave
Me Alone and Inside Your Head (I also really dig the chorus on Still
Without You), I'm not sure they're the best "singles". My vote goes
to the title track or Better Days.
All the best!

Wow! Good eye! That is indeed who that is. :) Hopefully, I'm not letting
the cat out of the bag or anything...

Thanks, dvaoa... "Inside Your Head" is my favorite on the release I
think. But you're right, there is no real 'radio ready' single. Not like
on our last release. On that we had "Dagger" which was pretty strong.
I appreciate the input. Better Days might be the best choice as that's
what we did the video to.
My favorites are It Won't Matter and One Step Closer...I think :-)
Cheers,
Dee

Racing for a Red Light
Better Days
those 2 songs do it for me anyways. good stuff.
Thanks, Squier! Appreciate the input. Better Days is a favorite of mine.

My favorite is Racing for a red light. Not sure it would be the best
single for a pop station...but I assume that's not the kind of station
you are aiming for. I think it is the one that stands out as far as
sounding different than other songs in the genre. All great stuff
though.

Thanks, jtees4! Looks like RfaRL is picking up some steam. It's funny,
I've always had some reservation about that song, but it seems to be
better received than I thought. It's good to hear that.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment.
I always thought RFARL was a strong crowd-pleaser among the songs, and
the only reason I haven't really suggested it for single is that it's
rather hardrock whereas the rest of the album is mostly heavy or metal
genre, and as such not the best possible representative of the album.
But I always thought it was nicely melodic without being too melodic
yet like Still Without you is IMO.
It'd go down well in some hardrock station maybe.
Cheers,
Dee
Yup, it's definitely more 'hard rock', no doubt about that. I just
listened to it again and it does have a certain 'catchiness' about it.
We'll have to keep it in mind for the 'hard rock' applications for sure.

Agreed. Both of those certainly fall more into the Hard Rock genre.
"Still Without You" has the best chorus hook of the bunch though. :)
