Question about intonation

My SG gibson plays true at open and 12th fretted positions but I see that playing notes around the 4th to 6th frets shows them to be sharp!! The action is great btw..if I alter the bridge string saddles this will upset the 12th fret intonaton so what next? Thanks in advance. Luke

I was considering an MXR Phase 90 or maybe a Boss PH-3, but the MM4 looks interesting. If it was half decent it could replace my chorus pedal (CE-5) and flanger (BF-2) as well as providing a phaser. Brett

Black Cat Blues has got to no.11 in the rock general charts at soundclick!! I've been reworking the song following some constructive comments here and elsewhere... drums, vocals and mix are all improved. I have a holiday party gig coming up where I'll need to have both acoustic and electric sounds. I happened to see a used AC-3 pedal at a decent price, so I bought it. Hey. I'm looking to by a new (or used) distortion pedal. Any opinions on what to get? I already have a Boss DS-2 (MIJ), SansAmp (Classic) and a Turbo Rat. I'm thinking of buying a Pearl Blue Balls. I play hard rock (grunge). I want heavy gain with wirey mids. -Adam

Hi, just got an Ebow yesterday. I know it will take a while to handle this thing but I wonder how to get a faster response of my strings. I have to rest the ebow on one string to get a louder tone.
