Why would you want to use plastic? No shielding, breaks easier.

The most commonly used are the Hammond die-cast aluminum boxes.

You can use google products, but here's a good source because you can
get pre-drilled, powder coated...

right, they are horrible, and anyway I think they are no more in
production
