Black Cat Blues has got to no.11 in the rock general charts at soundclick!!
I've been reworking the song following some constructive comments here and
elsewhere... drums, vocals and mix are all improved. I'd love to put up the
new version but if I do I lose the hits for the day on it..and at this stage
I'd rather wait till things settle down. Can you plse click my link and help
me get it to no.1?

Luke, I like the song, and am happy to help. But you should know that
#1 on SoundClick is generally a purchased position. You buy a day of
banner ads for $25 (US) and that generates enough eyeballs to get you
to #1 for a couple of days. If you really want to know how you're
doing - measure it by all the chart numbers BUT #1. If you can get to,
and stay in, the Top Ten, you'll have something to brag about.

Almost forgot - I meant to tell you I agreed with those who thought
you ought to get the vox a bit more out front. Kinda reminds me of
Wishbone Ash.

Thanks to all who clicked, Black Cat Blues is no.3 in Rock General and 12 in Rock at soundclick, which is the highest I have EVER got there!!! woohoo!!!. I did a huge makeover on the song arrangement, drums, vocals and guitars but still kept the spirit of the original and will put it up soon on soundclick.com if anyone's interested..does anyone else find mixing down/production takes the longest?
