Goodbye
I have been posting in this group for ten years give or take. I hope that I have been able to help some new players but I have reached my limit. Between Lumpy and some others here all I see are insults and ignorance. Occasionally there is something of musical interest. Like Modes. Who cares about modes?... more »

The truth
Now we know every word that drops out of the BOWL-ASS is the truth, right? Every single word... You know... eSORN Offender TERRY HERZOG (22621) - Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Offender TERRY HERZOG is using newly concocted identifiers to commit his daily computer crimes. Please check this one "More Lies PiGGy?" to see if... more »

Now I feel sorry for the sod
This Allen Pamplin guy, the klown from the California Jam fb revival page minus the Wereo (how is this possible?) But from certain things I have come across tonight on the Internet I sort of have gained a bit of sorrow for this guy. Of course no one has yet been born or is strong enough to defeat the Wereo... more »

Shame, shame on you all!
My 12 year old son recently took up the guitar and wanted to be able to talk with other beginning students like him self. Since there aren't any other guitar students around us, we went looking for an on-line group he could join. It only took minutes to find this cesspool. The language you people use here and the way you treat each other is... more »

Going back
I was just reading some old posts from the archives of this group. Some very interesting stuff from some interesting people. They are all gone now. I wonder why? Pt

It still ain't the Wereo
Just got word that some of the Deep Purple photographs and documents have been bound into a high-end style book coming from the UK. With a lot of contributions made by a "noted" American collector. This still ain't the Wereo folks. I plan on doing a 100,000 revival gig of the Wereo and Nuclear Warrior... more »

Alison's gone
[link] She doesn't want any other boy, just this boy. I certainly am not one to tell her what to do. I enjoy living. Anyone who tries to go eye-up on him will not get a second chance. Heck they won't even get a first. She is TOTALLY fucked up over him.

Writing music with a computer?
-- X-No-Archive: Yes My theory teacher said I need to rely less on my computer and develop my ability to write music with pencil and paper. I was wondering what the "music writers" had to say about that. I'm not doubting my instructor, but I want to understand the reasoning. I found that programs like "MuseScore" are great tools but do they cause... more »

Following up: "dorian" etc.
Coupla loose ends...Two songs on my original list that I claimed were in "Dorian" mode. 1. "I Heard It Through The Grapevine". Nope, not "Dorian" in the least. Two of the three major "hit" versions (Marvin Gay's original and Creedence Clearwater's cover) substitute a i chord for a I chord in a few places... more »

New Human Resources Form
Please answer the following question: Are you an asshole? []Yes []No If you answered NO above, do not continue to fill out this application. Ed isn't capable of dealing with any personalities that clash with his. We value Ed's employment here and would do anything to keep him. Seems like he'll never retire because... more »
