About the only page I've come across so far that has truly usable wood
descriptions (i.e., discusses both neck and body woods and how they
interact) is Mike Tobias' at:

http://mtdbass.com/products.html

Limited to his offerings, but helped me decide to put a black korina body
with my wenge neck.

The Warmoth site has a fairly comprehensive list.

Hmm Shouldn't that be placed on the agb site?

PS. you could also throw this one in there somewhere:
It's a series/parallel wiring diagram (That's not available anywhere else)
with separate volume controls for each pickup. I'll try to draw one up with
a global volume and tone pot sometime soon for you.

It's my drawing so no copyright issues

Well, it's been discussed, but... I'm just too lazy :-)
And actually, since the site has more of a pro mindset from
PLL'C, I'd doubt I'm still the "link meister."

<shakes head>
And you wonder why I get so stroppy?! :-p
You better keep one eye open when you're sleeping under Ma LeCompte's roof
for the BS ;-)

I need to sort out the links and FAQs - they're getting a bit messy and
unorganized. Notice I said 'I need to...' No bugger else will. Bloody lazy
so'n'sos, mumble, mumble...

Well... I couldn't figure out how to add to existing groups,
like the ones Ted started, so that was part of my problem. :-)

I'd be happy to supply my word docs to the cause, but I'm
afraid I'm just not web/mouse/modem/clicketyclick savvy
enough to have the overview of how it can become neat
organized and easy.

Sorry to let ya' down.

Ted wrote the FAQs - I put them up there. I put the links up there in the
first place too. See... me, me, me, me - lol - just kidding. Everyone's
contributions go a long way and are appreciated :-)

Don't worry Fluffy - it's all a bit of a mess right now. In the not too
distant future I will take a day out and revamp the FAQs and links and make
the administration of them a bit easier. I just need to tweak the code a
bit. When it's less hassle to add a link, it will be more incentive to do
it, huh?!

Ya didn't. You know I love doing the stuff anyways!

Oh crikey, I've hijacked another thread... :-/

Meh... the thread had already run it's course.
I'd be glad to give it (links) another try sometime.
Let me know when you've had your fun :-)
