There are (at least) a few groups where these goofs or others just like them
do this stuff. It's like a huge inside joke, but there really isn't one, and
they get off by annoying OT groups with piles of nonsense and well-practiced
retorts to their names and actions. They are a special breed of usenet
nutjob.

Hey, I wasn't laying blame or mentioning names.

But you know, stamping on it really hard is not the best way to deal
with dog poop on the footpath.

All that achieves is covering the entire footpath with a layer of poop -
which is even more difficult to avoid.

That's all I'm saying.

DataBasix protects free speech for anyone who opens an account. No net
abuse allowed, though.

If Mike is smart, he will put Bertie in his killfile and encourage the
rest of the posters in his group to do the same. If they all ignore him,
he'll find his entertainment elsewhere. He's the most good-natured troll
I know.

As it stands right now, however, I suspect that Mike is headed for an
award nomination.

It's not an excuse for those who write things they shouldn't write.
There is no excuse for abuse, but someone has to be David Goldberger, or
even the non-abusive will lose their voice.

When Lionel was fucking with me, he did from a DataBasix account--and I
replied to those posts from a DataBasix account. I never considered
trying to put the responsibility for Lionel's actions on Gary, because
it was not his job to put a lid on Lionel, but Lionel's job to exercise
some self-restraint.

Mmmmmm...DataBasix is a lawful business that provides a lawful service.
As far as I know, it denies service to no one except those who violate
its AUP.

If that were not the case, I might agree with you. But I'm proof
positive that DataBasix does not discriminate on the basis of kookdom.

Defensive much? I never even mentioned you by name this time, and
yet my puppetry skills must be improving thanks to the tips posted
here by another.

I never said it was you. Bunny dude's posting style and prefered host
is quite unique from yours, Gary.

I made the observation to facilitate folks filtering out both of ya
goofballs, though. A two-fer if you will.

Have a splendid week. God loves you. I don't. But God does
(credit to Lyle Lovett for the theme).

Best Regards,

I thought it tasted like pork.

Isn't that why it's called "long pig"?

I'm not a rat, ergo, eating rat will not make me a cannibal.
